Collection: Juliet Cap Veils
A juliet cap veil sits low on the head like a crown of lace, with tulle or lace falling softly from behind. It is the veil of the 1920s — Art Deco chapels, marcel waves, Old Hollywood photographs — and it has never quite left.
Each cap is shaped by hand in our atelier in Lithuania. Chantilly lace is eased to the curve of the head and sewn motif by motif, so the lace follows the hairline rather than sitting on top of it. It is slow work, and it is the reason the cap looks like part of the bride rather than something placed on her.
Who wears a juliet cap veil
Brides in vintage or beaded gowns, at Gatsby and Art Deco weddings, and anyone who would rather wear one considered piece than a headpiece and a veil bought separately. The lace cap veil reads beautifully in profile, which is where most ceremony photographs are taken from.
Lengths and shades
Depending on the style, the fall is offered from fingertip through waltz, floor and chapel length, in ivory and light ivory. Every piece is made to order, so the length can be adjusted to your height and gown.
We ship DDP to the United States — duties and taxes are settled before the veil leaves us, so nothing is asked of you at the door.
