The Fleur Veil — a handcrafted floral Chantilly lace mantilla veil in soft ivory. A single-tier mantilla bordered with a delicate floral Chantilly lace — each petal placed by hand, sewn stitch by stitch along the edge. Made to order from waist to cathedral length.

Fleur means flower — and blossoms drift along the border of this veil as if caught mid-bloom.

The floral lace traces the soft ivory tulle in tender, scalloped petals, catching the light as you move and drifting weightless against your shoulders. Romantic, garden-soft, old-world — made for a fine-art, garden or romantic wedding, and lovely over lace or plain gowns alike.

Veil length

Measured from the top of the veil to the hem:

  • Waist — 75 cm / 30"
  • Floor — 200 cm / 79"
  • Chapel — 250 cm / 98" (a short train)
  • Cathedral — 300 cm / 118" (a long, flowing train)

The style

A single-tier mantilla bordered with delicate floral Chantilly lace — each petal placed by hand and sewn stitch by stitch along the edge, never glued. Finished on a secure metal comb.

Tulle & colour

Soft ivory bridal tulle — light, airy and semi-sheer. Not sure the ivory will match your gown? Send me a photo of your dress and I'll help you match the shade, or order fabric and lace samples first.

Wearing a ball gown?

The standard width suits most wedding dresses. For a very full ball gown skirt or a wide train, a wider veil may look more balanced — write to me before ordering and I'll help you choose.

Design & style

Fleur means flower — and I wanted the blossoms along the border to look as if they had been caught mid-bloom.

The floral lace traces the tulle in tender, scalloped petals. It catches the light as you move and drifts weightless against your shoulders — romantic, garden-soft, a little old-world.

I love Fleur for a fine-art, garden or romantic wedding. It sits beautifully over a lace gown, echoing its flowers, and just as well over a plain satin or crepe dress, where the lace becomes the one soft detail.

Hand-sewn Chantilly lace

Many lace veils today are made with the lace glued on or machine-stitched in minutes. Mine are not.

Every piece of Chantilly lace on my veils is sewn by hand, stitch by stitch — whether it is a fine edge, a wide border or a veil made entirely of lace. It is a slow, old technique that very few ateliers still keep — and it is the reason the lace lies soft and flat, moves with the veil and never stiffens or peels away.

Every veil is handcrafted in my studio in Kaunas, Lithuania, for one bride at a time. Tiny differences between veils are the mark of the hand, not a flaw.

United States — DDP, duties paid. All import duties and taxes are covered. Nothing extra to pay at the door and no surprise bills from the courier.

European Union. Shipped from Lithuania — no customs inside the EU.

Worldwide. Tracked delivery to most countries. Outside the US and EU, any import fees are set by your local customs.

As soon as your veil ships, you will receive a tracking number by email.

Returns

Every veil is made to order especially for you, so I am not able to accept returns or exchanges for a change of mind (EU Directive 2011/83/EU, Article 16(c)).

Before ordering, please check the length and colour carefully. Unsure? Write to me — I am happy to send extra photos and measurements or help you choose.

If your veil arrives damaged or not as ordered, please contact me right away with a photo and we will make it right together.

FAQ

How do I choose the length?
Measure from the spot on your head where the veil will sit down to where you would like it to end. Waist and Fingertip are easy to wear all day, Floor just brushes the floor, Chapel and longer create a train.

Will my veil arrive creased?
Tulle folds during travel. Hang the veil for a day so it relaxes, or steam it gently from a distance on low heat. Never iron the lace directly.

How do I keep it after the wedding?
Store it loosely folded in acid-free tissue, in a breathable cotton bag, away from sunlight — never in plastic. It is made to be kept and passed on.
